Julie Grant

MSW, LCSW (#19517)

Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years experience in the field. This includes 11 years working at a foster care agency as a family consultant/supervisor and 15 years at Capital Counseling Center prior to going into private practice in 2016. In addition, she has extensive experience supervising Interns and Trainees. She specializes in Christian counseling and trauma, but has worked with individuals, couples, and families facing a range of issues. Her approach as a counselor is collaborative, goal oriented, compassionate, creative, and motivated to address the root of problems rather than just treat behaviors and reactions. Some of the approaches she utilizes with clients are Brainspotting, attachment oriented therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Structural Dissociation. The insurances she accepts are Magellan, Blue Shield, Western Health Advantage, Cigna, Kaiser, Health Net, and MHN.

Jamie Jones

MS, LPCC (#10708)

Jamie has over 12 years experience as a learning disabilities specialist working at Sacramento State University.  She has extensive experience in working with disabilities including learning, cognitive, psychological, and on the autism spectrum.  This includes people who have traumatic brain injury, ADHD/ADD, and asperger syndrome.  She is currently running a small women's Bible study that focuses on rejection, loneliness, and loss.  In addition, she works with clients who are having relationship problems, depression, anxiety, child, and marital issues.

Amy Johnson

APCC (#19517)

Amy has over 10 years experience as a Social Worker in CPS, working with refugees and with low income clients. She has many years experience as an alcohol and drug counselor. She specializes in Christian counseling having recently been ordained, though she works with people of all faiths. Amy is open to counseling all ages. She has counseled individuals with severe mental illness, trauma, depression, suicide, panic disorder, agoraphobia and those with self-harming behaviors and has been able to help clients reduce or completely eliminate negative symptoms among other issues. She has experience counseling domestic violence victims having managed a woman’s shelter. She works to address negative thought processes using CBT and looks into the past to address trauma in order to reduce current symptoms utilizing Psychodynamic theory. Amy is currently working as an Associate under supervision by Julie Grant, LCSW (LCS19517)

Rajeshni Naicker

AMFT (#161800)

Rajeshni is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience working within behavioral health systems, including substance use treatment programs and diverse mental health populations. Her work in behavioral health systems and program oversight has provided insight into complex mental health, substance use, and family-related challenges.


During her clinical training, Rajeshni provided individual, couples, child, and family therapy. She also facilitated CPS-mandated group sessions and worked with adolescents involved in structured behavioral treatment programs. Her clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, family conflict, and relationship concerns.


Rajeshni focuses on helping clients build coping skills, improve communication, and develop insight for lasting change. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, psychoeducation, play therapy for younger clients, and Gottman-informed tools for couples.
